About Amit
With a diverse background as an engineer and an MBA from Cranfield, I transitioned into law after 20 years in corporate roles, including founding a managed services and recruitment business that served both public and private sector clients. I have spent my career navigating both sides of the negotiation table – a true “poacher turned game-keeper.”
My passion for law comes from a commitment to fairness and the belief that legal practice is a powerful tool to achieve it. As a legal consultant, I offer Contracts and Commercial management services and act as the key point of contact for client escalations. I stay closely engaged with developments in Commercial case law and am an avid follower of Court of Appeal updates and leading barrister chambers.
Outside of work, I’m also a dedicated mindfulness practitioner, continually seeking balance and clarity in everything I do.
Recent achievements in law include:
- Won 2nd place in the Rosie Choueka essay competition by the Procurement Lawyers Association. (2025)
- Won a commendation in the an essay competition by Society of Computers and Law on AI and law (2025)
- Advocated successfully in a Rule 3(10) hearing heard by a Deputy High Court Judge in the EAT (2024)
- Secured top quintile in the notoriously difficult Solicitors Qualifying Exam through self-study (2023)
