How to engage us
The ethos behind our engagement process is to have no awkward supplier-buyer dynamic between us. We recognise that for you to trust us as your representative in your Commercial matters, our goals have to be absolutely aligned with yours. Here’s how we go about working with you.
Step 1: Pre-market engagement / Service definition
We will work with you to help define the Service such that it is on the right side of IR35. We will also assist you in identifying the right search criteria for your needs that will help you narrow down your search in a fair manner. We do not encourage our clients to make us direct awards. Step 2: Sourcing
We are a CCS supplier, and subject to the nature of your work, there may be a possibility that you can procure us via GCloud 10.
Step 3: Contracting
We have fully marked up GCloud order forms that you can review and sign off, when you are ready. Be assured that we do not seek to vary any standard GCloud term. We also understand that you need a high level of liability protection if you are going to be entrusting us with responsibilities related to your Commercial matters. We promise that you will find the call-off contract agreement process to be the least frustrating experience you have ever had with a supplier!
Step 4: Back to back agreements
In the background, Mindful will sign subcontract agreement with the appointed consultants. The flow-down rates will be transparent to you and the subcontractor. Our operating model is compliant with applicable laws and we undertake periodic checks with Legal firms to make sure.
Step 5: Administration
Once engaged, every month our subcontractors bill us in accordance with the subcontract agreements, and we bill you in accordance with our agreement. Often this means you have a simpler consolidated invoice. Our systems have a high level of automation and verification built in, making use of the latest invoicing processing and time sheet management technology, minimizing the chance of errors.
Our margins on resources are lowest compared to those charged by recruitment agencies that we are aware of – and tiered based on the risk we take. Usually this is lower where you introduce a resource to us and all we do is process invoices, and higher where we find you someone and own the unlikely but significant risk of performance failure. Our maximum day rates are openly accessible through the Digital Marketplace and reproduced here.
